NSB Bank's History
Northwood State Bank began serving the community in Northwood, Iowa in 1933 thanks to a group of local investors. In 1954, the Paulson family purchased the controlling interest of the bank. Throughout the years, the Paulson family has brought much success to NSB Bank. Under their leadership, the bank has grown and expanded throughout central Iowa and surpassed $450 million in assets. Committed to serving our communities and surrounding area, we have always strived to promote stability and excellence for all who walk through our doors.
Today, NSB Bank is proud to serve its customers at their 6 banking locations throughout Iowa: Northwood, Mason City (West and East), Forest City, Thompson, and Titonka.
