Every NSB Checking and Business Checking account allows the opportunity to have a VISA® debit card. You can use your debit card to make purchases in person or online, pay bills, and access your money via ATMs. Stop into one of our local branches and speak with a teller about requesting a debit card.

$18.00 initial fee with an annual service fee of $18.00 thereafter.

NSB Bank Digital Wallet Services

Now you can use your smartphone to make purchases using your debit card with NSB Bank’s digital wallet services. Utilizing the wallet app on your device, you can add your debit card information that will allow you to use your phone to make transactions online or in-person at retailers that utilize contactless pay terminals. NSB Bank cards are compatible with the following apps:

  • Apple Wallet
  • Google Wallet
  • Samsung Wallet

Brella Debit Card Management App

Help ensure that YOU are the only one making purchases on your debit card with the Brella app. With Brella, you can protect your debit card by sending you alerts when the card is used to help you detect unauthorized or fraudulent activity. Other features of Brella include:

  • Turn your debit card on and off
  • Check your account balances
  • Set alerts for purchases exceeding dollar amounts you set
  • Be notified of any card-not-present purchases
  • Receive notifications for suspicious or high-risk transactions
  • Set up blocks on international transactions, transactions exceeding a certain amount, and transactions not completed in-person
  • Notify the bank of upcoming travel

Shazam

If activity on your debit card is deemed suspicious or fraudulent, you may receive a call or text message from Shazam to verify your most recent transactions. Shazam may put a block on your debit card if you are unable to be contacted. Please contact your local NSB Bank immediately if you believe you have had suspicious or fraudulent activity on your debit card.

Lost or Stolen Card

If you believe your debit card has been lost or stolen, contact an NSB Bank office immediately during normal business hours to put a block on your card. If it is outside of normal business hours, please call 1-800-383-8000 or use your Brella app.

Change your PIN

  1. To change your PIN, you’ll need the last 4 digits of your social security number, debit card number, and the 3 numbers from the back of your debit card.
  2. Call 800-717-4923 and select the option to change your PIN. *Card must be activated first. If you need to activate your card, please do so by following the prompts when calling.
  3. Enter the 4 digit PIN you would like to use. Your PIN will be updated and ready to use immediately.

*Never give out your debit card PIN. Please contact your local NSB Bank branch immediately if you believe you have had suspicious or fraudulent activity on your debit card.
